Modular Composite Solutions

Won contracts with Network Rail, Woodland Trust & Transport for Wales

Laying the marketing foundations for a new business partnership, building modular accessible toilets & changing places.

Modular Composite Solutions (MCS) was a partnership set up between three companies: an architects practice, an engineering firm & a modular construction company. Between them they saw a gap in the market to produce state of the art, accessible toilet pods & changing places that could be installed across a wide range of public facilities.

We got involved from the very start of the business, initially working with the various businesses involved to come up with the name of the business & then designing the branding to represent the partnership moving forwards. The logo which was eventually settled on featured a logomark which played upon the idea of hexagons being modular and easily connected. It also hinted at the fact there were three businesses in the partnership. These hexagons became a really strong brand asset that was used across various pieces of graphic design work we did moving forwards.

We then went onto design the website for the company, showcasing the range of products they produced & over time we were able to add on case studies of successful projects. Both the website & the brand were crucial for MCS, as they were signed up to showcase their products for the first time on an exhibition stand at Rail Live. Their marquee there was seen as the big reveal of their brand. We helped them prepare for this key moment in their business by designing signage, roll out banners, brochures & branded signup forms which could be used on the day of the event.

Following on from the show, we went onto design pitch decks & supporting branded documents for MCS, which helped them to win contracts with the likes of Network Rail, The Woodland Trust & Transport for Wales. Unfortunately, since then the three businesses that made up the partnership have gone their separate ways & Modular Composite Solutions is no longer trading.
